2023 COMPOSE: A Masterclass, Theme: Nocturnes

January 9, 2023 @ 9:00 am - January 29, 2023 @ 8:30 pm

COMPOSE will take a different turn in 2023. While staying the course of rigorous study and research the scope of painting will specialize to nocturnes in traditional media.

More emphasis will be placed on (as compared to 2021 and 2022 COMPOSE):

  • Color theory
  • Techniques

Less emphasis will be placed on (as compared to previous COMPOSE series):

  • Composition
  • Gestural strokes

Since it is hard to predict what model of teaching will work for a month-long class as we exit the pandemic, Studio Kelkar is seeking feedback on your preference of taking in instruction (see form at the top).
