These are the sketches from downtown San Jose where I led the Santa Clara valley watercolor society’s weekend paintout. The first ever comic con to be held in the valley was also on the same weekend few blocks from the Basilica of St. Joseph where we had decided to paint. It was wonderful to paint a beautiful building while friendly people dressed up in unicorn, ent, Darth Vader and Star Trek costumes passed by us. The city felt of no hate. No anti immigrant backlash or any trump incited sentiments. #nohate, #notrump.
