Aim is to get the nose right! I didn’t paint my older son and have since then repented. This cherubic stage I am not letting go off this time. My younger one, presented in ultra vivid color here!

Paper: Scrap
Brush: Teeny Weeny #1 squirrel mop. Not as dextrous with the brush today. The familiarity of the subject (the urge to maintain likeness) actually robs you of the spontaneity.
Colors: Gamboge, Carmine & Permanent Ochre (hat tip to Charles Reid), Burnt Umber, Cerulean Blue.
