The month of Oct, Nov and Dec have not been conducive to painting. However, I’ve had friends and family who have let me sketch at any place that whim has struck. 
The local grocery store has also revealed it’s
additional benefits with coffee/wine. Here are some snapshots drawn in November and December.
There were Diwali meet-ups at friends too –
and there were fantastic opportunities right in my backyard! Some samplings of graphic progress reports-
And finally, the best self portrait opportunity came at the hairdressers where I had to wait for a toner to work and I sat before a large mirror with lights around me. Sometimes, the opportunities like these are better than any deliberate setup for capturing a self-portrait would’ve been!
