Launch Party of 10×10

February 9, 2019 @ 3:00 am - 6:00 am

Free

SF Sketchers will be 7 years old! We’re having a birthday party at Arch Art Supplies, with a sketching meetup beforehand to document some of the crazy new buildings and construction in this rapidly changing neighborhood. You are invited to all or any part of this event! You needn’t be affiliated with any sketching group, but you need to  be curious!

We’ll also be announcing the 2019 Urban Sketchers 10×10 class series (Link to all classes) and introducing some of the people who will be teaching classes and organizing groups over the next year in our wonderful Bay Area sketching community.

11:00am –
Meet outside of Arch Art Supplies. We’ll range out from there to sketch new buildings and whatever nearby construction sites are in an interesting phase. (If it’s raining we’ll stay close to Arch, but if it’s sunny we’ll sketch closer to Mission Bay.)

12:30pm –
Head back to Arch for the party. We can warm up with food and hot drinks, watch a slideshow of some of the places we’ve been and sketches we’ve done, and think about what we want our sketching community to look like going forward.

Please RSVP and get more information about this event via the Meetup link.
