Urban Sketching Southwest Retreat

April 17, 2023 @ 8:00 am - April 21, 2023 @ 5:00 pm

4 master instructors, Shari Blaukopf, Paul Heaston, Jim Richards and I will take charge of 50+ students in Santa Fe, New Mexico and lay before you a range of styles & media of urban sketching while being tied together by our group chemistry and style of meaty teaching. Students will be divided into 4 groups, A, B, C, D and each group will rotate with a teacher for 1 day. On the 5th day, we will have a joint local sketching trip topped off with a throwdown of students’ work from the week in an open exhibit of sketchbooks. Click on button below to read in-depth descriptions by each instructor. Videos from each instructor follow.
