Webinar: Composition

December 17, 2021 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$10

Tickets Coming Soon!

This is a webinar for those who want to start the journey of composing any 2-D visual medium. All examples for this session will come from drawing/sketching/painting as a vehicle to conveying the concepts. If you had wanted to think about composition in easy to hear and easy to digest language, this is the 1 hour lecture to attend. Uma will draw as she speaks and welcomes you to draw along. If your medium is analog, you will need blank papers + markers OR blank papers + pencil if you are fast with it. Uma herself will be using a tablet to convey the concepts. There will be no attempt to teach right/wrong this/that way of composing. The session will be a curated stream of thoughts that explain Uma’s why. Your take away should be seeing how Uma thinks. Your after class thinking should be about adapting it to your taste. Adaption and building takes time. This webinar wishes to start that directed journey.

We will have a moderator who will be curating questions that will be passed on to Uma twice during the class. Webinars are not highly interactive as they have larger audiences especially when compared with Uma’s highly interactive and small classes.

* If you are in the COMPOSE 2022, masterclass, this webinar is free for you.
